Chateau Saint Georges in the Hachette Guide 2001
The Vintage 1997
It is not amazing that the jury of the Guide Hachette of the Wines unanimously decreed his "Coup de coeur" 2001 with the Chateau Saint Georges 1997.
This wine has a nose of a rare expressivity! It reveals, with an exceptional intensity, superb cocoa flavours, spices, fruits ripe, toasté wood.
The mouth is a wonder of roundness, harmony and balance, without missing power.
A wine to enjoy as of now and in both to six years to come.
